The 10th edition of the traditional culinary competition of “Krassi” mayonnaise gathered all the winners over the years.

Their recipes prepared by the latest MasterChef of Bulgaria Bozhana Katsarova competed in the culinary battle of the best.

Eminent cooks were assigned the difficult task to choose one recipe whose author would win a trip for two to the Balearic Islands, more precisely to the Island of Menorca, from where, in its largest city of Maó-Mahón, the exquisite sauce known nowadays as mayonnaise, originated. The strict and fair selection committee of the culinary competition included the most multifunctional cook of Bulgaria – a reality star and a TV and radio presenter Leo Bianchi, the world famous culinary expert Georgi Boykovski and the Manager of Krassi Mayonnaise Factory Daniela Avdzhieva. They decided to award the prize to Vesela Stoitsev for her Pumpkin Mousse Parfait and “Krassi”.

More than 150 000 recipes have been received over the ten years of the competition, among them recipes for salads, soups, different types of bread, main dishes, cakes, various types of banitsa, sweets and salted baked goods.

We thank to all our fans who, with perseverance and loyalty, sent delicious recipes over all these years and surprised us with their endless imagination.

For the past 10 years loyal fans of “Krassi” have been awarded over 500 prizes among which home appliances, tablets, cameras, smart watches, excursions to Egypt, trips for two to Italy, Turkey and Egypt, spa weekends and kitchen sets.

Guests of the culinary competition enjoyed the special participation of Bozhana Katsarova who cooked the finalists’ recipes and also refereed a game where the guests of the event had to guess the ingredients of a randomly chosen dish.

Sarah Suzette Namba, the Filipino singer who impressed the music specialists with the appearance she made at The Voice of Bulgaria, entertained all those present at the event.

For the 10th time Krassi Mayonnaise Factory gives its fans the opportunity to win awards by preparing their favorite mayonnaise recipes. From 5th to 15th October everyone has the chance to post a picture of his/her dish prepared with “Krassi” mayonnaise on the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/krassi.bg/ and win a smart watch. Every participant may publish unlimited number of pictures of dishes prepared using “Krassi” mayonnaise and try to win one of the awards. The more often you participate with a different recipe each time, the better is your chance to win an award. Cook, take a picture and win an award from Krassi Mayonnaise Factory!

Nearly 30k people nominated the brands preferred by them in the only user ranking in the country, which was organised over the course of two months. Users voted in three stages, identifying the leaders in 39 categories. The initiative is an expression of consumer preferences towards certain brands in different sectors. And it is not an expression of preferences only, but of a real emotional attachment to specific brands, which we would miss if they disappeared. Favourite brands are selected only through voting by end-users who strongly supported Krasi in all three rounds of the competition and ultimately gave their vote with a serious lead for “The best mayonnaise”.

Upon receiving the award, the manager of Krasi Mayonnaise Factory, Daniela Avdzhieva said: “We want to thank everyone who voted for us, all who trust us and prefer Krasi mayonnaise because we work from the heart and we put our heart into our work for the satisfaction of our users. We make no compromise with raw materials and quality, and have kept the tradition for more than 20 years now of delivering tasty and quality food to the Bulgarian table.”

This is a high praise for the brand by consumers in the “Favourite Brand” for a third consecutive year. Krasi mayonnaise is the best-selling product in its market segment in the country, and over the years has won awards like Superbrands, gold medals from the Plovdiv International Fair, etc. Few are products that remain of high quality for many years, and consumers continue to trust them.

Krasi Mayonnaise Factory has received a distinction in the third Annual charity and corporate social responsibility awards. The leader in the mayonnaise market in the country earned merited recognition in the “Support for the unprotected” category for its long efforts in support of people with disabilities and the socially disadvantaged people, and for its overall activity for the prevention of social exclusion of children and adults with various disabilities.

This year, Krasi Mayonnaise Factory once more has supported “The World is for All” festival with 656 performers, representatives of nearly 40 associations of people with disabilities from all over the country.

Upon receipt of the award, Daniela Avdzhieva, the manager of Krasi Mayonnaise Factory, shared that helping people in need is a mission which is worth the effort and if we all open our hearts for the unprotected, we will make the world a better place for all of us.

The Golden Heart awards aim to gain publicity for the efforts of companies, NGOs, institutions and individuals supporting various causes with social and publically significant character, thus setting an example and encouraging more companies and individuals to become involved in similar initiatives. A total of nineteen charity projects and social initiatives in 11 different causes received official recognition in the third edition of the Annual charity and corporate social responsibility awards of the Business Lady magazine.
